Company Policy and Rates

Please familiarize yourself with our company policies as outlined below. If after reading this form you still have unanswered questions, one of our associates will be happy to clarify anything that is unclear to you.

• Any information or document that you share with us is confidential and will only be released to you, your spouse or an authorized representative unless otherwise instructed by you, the client. If the instructions received are given other than in person, we will take steps to verify your identity.
• Each new client will be set up in our database and in the appropriate software. Physical copies of documents, forms and notes will also be kept in our files and stored for seven years as required by law. A one-time set-up fee of $25.00 will be charged to each new client for this service. Also, a storage retrieval fee of $35.00 will apply should we ever have to pull a document that is over three years old.
• Billing and payment:
1. Down payments equal to one half of the estimate are required on all services.
2. Our product is our time, education and expertise. We will bill you on an hourly basis for our services in increments of 1/10th per hour. The time for which you are billed will include one-on-one meetings, telephone consultations, research, bookkeeping, tax preparation, typing and other administrative duties, postage, mileage and materials.
3. There are many variables and uncertainties involved, so please understand that we can only estimate the amount of your bill based on the information provided to us by you, the client. The estimate may not agree with actual costs and any difference will be explained to you. We will make every effort to contact you should our services begin to exceed original expectations.
4. Our hourly rate varies from $40.00 - $175.00 per hour depending on the complexity of the task and the employee performing it. We attempt to assign tasks to the person with the lowest billing rate possible that also possesses the necessary skill set to accomplish that task. Rates are subject to change without notice.

The specifics will be available during the face to face visit.

1. Full payment is due upon completion of services or project. No work will be released until payment is received in full. We reserve the right to add a service charge of 1 ½% to those accounts which exceed thirty days past the original due date. Any and all collection fees incurred will be the charged and are the responsibility of the client.
2. There is a $200.00 minimum for tax returns.
• The accuracy and completeness of information provided to us for completion of your tax return is your responsibility. As a third party, we will not be held accountable for errors in information or incomplete information. The fraud and negligence penalties in the 1986 Tax Return Act are quite severe as they relate to the individual and tax preparer. You will be required to sign an affidavit stating that all information provided the tax preparer is true and correct to the best of your knowledge.
